Ananda Niketan was established in 1998 by Dr. Haramohan Sinha, a renowned philanthropist and social worker, three times National Award winner and recipient of many distinguished awards. After a humble beginning in Village of Khajurdihi near Katwa, about 120 kilometers from Kolkata, West Bengal, Ananda Niketan has grown to be a leading organization for mental health care. Ananda Niketan serves communities both in immediate neighborhood and beyond with projects ranging from in-patient care to University education programs.
